Richard St. Pierre,
LCSW, Bereavement Support
and Counseling, has been working with individuals, couples, families and
group participants of all ages for over four decades. He received the
Bachelor of Science Degree in Education through the New York State University
at Fredonia, New York and the Masters Degree in Social Work from Syracuse
University’s School of Social Work.
Richard has over fifteen years experience in supporting others through grief and loss both as a hospice social worker and with three up-state New York area hospitals as an emergency room psychiatric assessment officer. Currently, he is an adjunct professor with the E. B. Strong School of Social Work, Norfolk State University, a clinical case manager serving the needs of service members and their families with the United States Navy, Naval Station Norfolk, VA, and in private practice with Tidewater Psychotherapy Services in Virginia Beach, VA.
